Be sure to come out to see me at Palafox Market on Saturdays in Martin Luther King Square. I am at the northern most end of the market (Nearest Wright St.). I am always running a special at the market so it’s an excellent time to get a great deal. For the month of August, anyone who mentions this newsletter will get 20% off of any item on my table. That’s the ‘back to school special’ for the month of August.
More Palafox Market News
As many of you know, my very handsome and charming nine year old son, Dakota, has been working the market with me this summer. He made his debut in the Pensacola art community in July at the market and quickly became known for his wire sculpture. He has been working hard to save up to buy his very own computer. The first week in August he reached his goal and was able to buy a computer of his very own. I am very proud of him. I am happy to spread the word of his accomplishment! Congratulations on attaining your goal Dakota!
Workshops for August:
First, a quick note on the issue of workshops! If you attended my dragonfly pendant workshop, or my Variations on a Ring workshop at Danish Princess and didn’t receive your tutorial file, please email me a.s.a.p. at Workshops@DeliaStone.com so that I can take care of that for you. The rug rats got to my computer desk and the list of emails that I had for those workshops magically disappeared! My apologies for the delay … that’s one of the headaches of working from home, but the pleasures far outweigh such small annoyances in the end so I STILL wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Please remember that seats are limited in workshops so be sure to reserve your seat in advance to ensure your place!

Learn how to transfer your own hand drawn images to sheet metal for jewelry making. You will complete a cuff bracelet in this class with a design of your choosing. You will have the option of adding a variety of patinas to your completed cuff.

Angel’s Garden Dates Have Changed!
I have been doing Angel Garden’s New Beginnings Art show for twelve years this year! That fateful first show back in 2000 was the beginning of my career as an artist. After years of making jewelry for the sheer joy of making it I finally had the courage to present my offerings to the world. My first pieces debuted at Debi’s art show.
Angel’s Garden art show is usually the first to kick off the art show season in the area in September; however, due to the fact that Debi will be undergoing major surgery this year she has had to push her show dates back to October 19th 20th and 21st this year. In addition to giving Debi proper time to heal post surgery it also gives the artists and shoppers the advantage of cooler weather for the show. If you have followed her shows as I have, you know sometimes the heat was punishing. Did I mention that I was pregnant for three of the eleven Septembers I’ve worked this show in the past? Oh yes, a little drop in temperature would be a welcomed change. Please be sure to drop by to see me. I am always right on the corner of 12th and Gonzalez .
